Blue Rising returns to the Bluebird August 15th with a brand new setlist, featuring originals and covers that we have never before played live! For the dedicated Bloomington fans, we are making this show bigger and better than you have seen from us to date. Always pushing ourselves to raise the bar from the last appearance, we are very excited to continue the trend. For those of you who have not yet experienced a Blue Rising live performance, this is the show not to miss! Expect a full stage production with visual effects, stage props, sweat, and emotive powerhouse rock.

To make things even more exciting, Bloomington’s own Jenn Cristy Band will open the night! Jenn’s background experience includes recording and touring with John Mellencamp and then moving on to her own successful career as an exceptional songwriter and entertainer, performing original material. Blue Rising’s Austin Frink and Jenn Cristy were the winners of the Bloomington’s Herald Times So In Band competition, winning the honors of best male and female vocalist respectively. Jenn also the won in the category of best keyboard player!
